MotivEd was founded on a simple observation that accreditation, at its best, is not meant to be a bureaucratic hurdle; rather, it is an invitation to become the institution you always intended to be. That insight came from the founder’s years of experience working with specialized professional associations (SPA) and an accreditation council, guiding professional programs in higher education institutions through the standards that define what quality looks like in practice.
What became clear in that work was that not every institution arrives at accreditation, quality control, and continuous improvement from the same starting point. Some had the resources, leadership, and infrastructure to meet standards with relative ease. Others were under-resourced, understaffed, or operating without the leadership support that quality improvement requires. And yet the institutions that struggled were often the ones with the most to gain — and the most to offer their students and communities — if they could get there.
MotivEd exists for both kinds of institutions. For those ready to pursue or renew accreditation, we bring the process knowledge and standards expertise to help them do it well. For those still building toward readiness, we bring the same — and the conviction that the journey toward quality is worth taking at every stage. The services are for—
- Higher education institutions seeking institutional accreditation
- Professional programs offered in traditional and alternative formats at higher education institutions, technical colleges, community colleges that are seeking programmatic accreditation or SPA National Recognition
